While titles in this status have been accepted by writers to begin working on them, what you see in the editing window will depend on whether the writer has started work and whether he/she is working within the Zerys editor or not. Some writers choose to work within their accounts, using the built-in editor that you can see. If a writer is using this editor, then you can see the work while it is in progress. Each time the writer saves the document, a new version is created and you will see this new version displayed when you open the document. A document should never be considered complete until it is submitted for review. However, some writers choose to use a separate word-processing program and only paste their content into the Zerys editor when they are ready for you to see the content, either to ask you a question about something they have written, or to format it for submission. Therefore, blank or incomplete documents do not really give you an accurate picture of how far the writer has progressed. We recommend sending the writer a message using the Document Message Board within the Content Review screen for that specific document if you need to check on the writer’s status at any given time.
