If your writer cancels the job or misses the deadline, here's what happens:
  • If you had direct assigned the job, the job will go back to your Assign Titles queue so you can reassign.
  • If the job was posted to any Job Board, then the system automatically re-posts the job back to that same job board so another writer/editor can claim it.
If a Zerys Editor cancels the document and it was Direct Assigned, the job will go back to Pending Review status for that project and you will be notified so that you can make a decision whether to edit the content yourself, post it to an Editor Job Board, or Direct Assign it to a different editor. All cancellations also appear under the Cancelled tab in the Project Dashboard and Project Work Center for that project. You can obtain information about a specific cancelled title there and view any messages that you had exchanged with the writer/editor.
